Cassettes Won't Listen headed Into the Hillsides!

Cassettes Won't Listen Studio Tour from Cassettes Won't Listen on Vimeo.

Since I first heard Cassettes Won't Listen's remix of the EL-P track "Flyentology" I knew the producer had some talent. I've been following his career loosely since and am excited to say that he will be releasing an instrumental album called Into the Hillside on June 16. If the title track is any indicator it's going to be an eclectic energetic extravaganza. Yes, I just used alliteration.

Max Justus Shows No Mercy!

Max Justus is set to release his debut full length album on July 14th which features a variety of party starting beats and cross genre dance-tastic experiments. Max Justus also worked on an EP of remixes for Kanye West's tracks off of his 808's and Heartbreak album, taking an already inventive collection of songs and making them even better. His new release No Mercy will undoubtedly keep the jams flowing. If you're looking to sample a bit of the growling grooves of what's to come click below!

Solid Gold Are Out Thumping Bibles!

Solid Gold, the band behind the stellar single "Get Over It" released back in November has returned with a new single from their forthcoming album "Bodies of Water" due out in late summer. If the video is anything like the church the band goes to, count me in.

Linus Love's "Prom Night"

Linus Loves has released a new single called "Prom Night" loosely inspired by the movie Carrie. The track's endless edgy bounce sounds like the limo may have taken a detour straight into the desert for a rave inspired by Salvador Dahli.

Surly Electronica: Hopeless!

Hopeless from Miami Florida is a raunchy, rough around the edges electronica/indie act that is something like if James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem was concerned with starting a fight with the crowd as much as he wants to make them dance.

Bloc Party Release New Video! Ares (Villains Remix)!

Bloc Party are set to release their new remix album, aptly titled "Intimacy Remixed" tomorrow in the United States and today basically everywhere else. Their new video for the lead single "Ares (Villains Remix)" has been shot entirely on fans camera phones over their two day stay at the Olympia in London. Gotta love the lights, chaos, and low bitrate video.

New Heads We Dance Song "Work It Out" Ft. Little Boots

Leed's retro-futurists Heads We Dance have released a b-side from their upcoming single "When the Siren Sounds" called "Work It Out" featuring a little lady who has been taking the world by storm, Little Boots! The track is a bit darker and more rock driven than a lot of their other stuff, but fear not, the synths are turned on high as they cruise past cymbal crashes and dance beats.

Heads We Dance also launched their new website where you can get Frankmusik's remix of "Love in the Digital Age" and listen to some of their own mixes.
